AGM and Membership Dues Notice


The AGM was held on 22nd October 2024, and the fees were agreed upon. Please see the Minutes for details on how to pay your membership dues. All fees and forms must be with the Secretary or handed in to an RO by Friday, 22nd November.


If paying by bank transfer, please ensure you transfer the correct amount. If you fail to send the full amount, it will be classed as not having paid your dues, and you will not be considered a member. All cheques must be made payable to Glenrothes Target Shooting Club. No other abbreviation will be accepted.


As of the AGM 2024, we no longer offer Archery as we have not had anyone attend an archery night in 5 years.


New Members


If you wish to join, please email asking for an induction. There is currently no waiting list to join.



GTSC COVID Rules


Face Masks: As per government advice, face masks are recommended but it is up to individual members if they wish to wear one.


Club Night Cleaning: After your session, wipe down your lane using the disinfectant cleaners supplied.


If you are attending as a key holder, clean the banisters, door handles, and the lane you are using both when you enter and when you leave.


Attendance Restrictions: Do not attend the club if you have had recent close contact with a positive COVID case or have symptoms of COVID. Stay clear of the club until you have recovered or tested negative.


Pre-Booking: Required only for official club nights for archery and pistol shooting via the email addresses already supplied to club members.


Rifle members no longer need to pre-book and can turn up and wait for a lane.


Food & Drink: Socializing is allowed again. Tea and coffee will be supplied. All rubbish must be taken away with you using the small bags provided. Take away all your rubbish, including brass casings and targets.


Cleaning Compliance: Any keyholder who is found not following the cleaning requirements as agreed at the AGM will have their key deactivated without warning.


Pre-Booking Instructions


Pre-Booking: By email only. No other booking method is accepted.


Pistols Pre-Booking: As normal.


Capacity: There is no maximum number for shooters; however, you may need to wait in the club room if lanes are full.


Spectators: Not allowed. A parent or guardian will be permitted when supervising a minor.

Monday: Closed


Tuesday: Closed


Session: 5:45pm-8pm (Must be pre-booked)


Wednesday: Pistols


Session: 8pm-9:45pm


Thursday: Rifles


Session: 7:30pm-9:30pm


Friday: Closed


Glenrothes Target Shooting Club (GTSC) Information


Founded: 1969


Facilities: 25-yard indoor shooting range, clubroom, kitchen, and toilet facilities. The range is accessed on the first floor, so you need to be able to go up one flight of stairs.


Recognition: Full Scottish Government Home Office approval. HMRC recognized Community Amateur Sports Club.


Entry: Non-members prohibited unless previously arranged with the Secretary.


Membership: No waiting list at present  for all new members for air rifles/smallbore.
