Club is re opening for pre booked session only as per the email sent on the 9th June 2021.
We are still unable to accept new members based on the goverment guidance. Once this changes we will let those that have enquired know.
Due to lack of booking Rifles has changed to 2 longer slots instead of 3 shorter slots.
There is talk of Social Distancing being removed from the 9th August this may allow us to go back to what we have before however until it is clear & what the guidlines are nothing is changing.
Based on the latest guidance issued by Sports Scotland & STS As Fife is now under Level 1, The Committee are Re Opening the club week commencing 14th June 2021.
Please note this will not be an open for anyone to attend based on the guidlines shooting must be prebooked.
Information on how to prebook has been emailed to members.
To Book a slot you must email the dedicated email address which has been sent to all members via email.
Archery will be Available to be booked from the Wednesday Before until 5pm on the Monday.
Pistols will be Available to be booked from the Thursday before until 5pm on the Tuesday.
Rifles will be Available to be booked from the Friday until the Wednesday before until 5pm.
You will not be able to book multiple weeks in advance and only be able to book for the following week.
If you need to purchase Targets etc please advise in advance where possible with your booking so the R.O can have these ready.
Please try to bring Exact change where possible as we will have a limited income and may not have change available.
All Keys will remain deactivated and Only Range Officers will have keycards that work for the time being.
There will be no tuck or food/drinks allowed in the range at this time.
We will still have social distancing & pre booked slots as these are the conditions we are able to open up under.
There will be a maximum of 3 shooters per time slot allowed as we can only have 3 households mix indoors for target shooting.
Spectators are NOT allowed. A Parent or Guardian will be permitted when supervising a Minor.
2m Social distancing must be observed as well as Facemasks/ Face shield to be worn at all times.
You will be required to sign a waiver form prior to your first shooting slot. If you do not wish to sign the waiver then please do not attend as you will not be permitted to shoot and asked to leave.
You will not be permitted Entry to the club until 5mins before your pre-booked time slot.
You will enter via the normal doors got to the sign in desk pay your fee and the R.O Will sign you in to the book. You will then go to you allocated lane.
You will then be able to set up your target and then your time slot will run.
At the end of the time slot you will gather your things together Wipe down the Lane you were allocated & then exit the building via the fire door taking all your rubbish/empty shells with you.
If you keep your equipment at the club only at the end of the allocated shooting session will you be able to go back into the club room to store your gear & you will then need to exit via the fire door on the range.

While this is not Ideal this is what the club has to work with for being an indoor shooting range.
The guidelines state Individual shooting is classed as 1:1 Coaching. & Group Shooting refers to adults from more than 2 households.

Founded in 1969 and now in our 51st year, GTSC provides a safe and secure shooting environment and benefits from a membership that includes shooting enthusiasts of all ages.
GTSC has full Scottish Government Home Office approval. GTSC has a 25-yard indoor shooting range, a clubroom, kitchen and toilet facilities. The range is accessed on the first floor, so you need to be able to go up one flight of stairs.
The Club is an HMRC recognised Community Amateur Sports Club.
Entry to the club by non-members will be prohibited unless previously arranged with the Secretary
